The Mistletoe Market - Leesburg V.A.

Holiday market in Leesburg VA, the historic downtown Leesburg, christmas market, business owner shops

I was invited to The Mistletoe Market in Leesburg VA this past weekend and I had the best time ever!! The Mistletoe Holiday Market was hosted by The Leesburg Movement (it’s their 2nd year doing this, woot woot!) It was so much fun being a part of it and documenting a few holiday mini sessions as well as the overall event.

The Leesburg Movement was founded by Vanessa Borg, owner of CRAFT. It’s a Virginia based community of business owners and residents of the historic district who work together to further the economic and cultural vitality of downtown through outreach and advocacy. Their board works with volunteers to promote businesses and organize events in Leesburg…such as The Mistletoe Market!

So many people came out to enjoy the market! Mostly everyone that I saw would leave with a drink in one hand and a shopping bag in the other. Families, couples, kids, grandparents, dogs, etc. Literally there was something for everyone!

Special shout out to The Cultured Sips for having PONCHE! I’m from Guatemala and my mom makes this drink every year around the holidays. It is a warm, fruity Latin American drink. I’ve NEVER seen anyone selling it here, so I was SHOCKED when I saw The Cultured Sips menu. The poncho was delicious and it actually tastes just like my mom’s 🥰

If you missed The Mistletoe Market this year, no worries, they’ll be back again in 2025 so make sure to keep an eye out! Make sure to follow The Leesburg Movement to stay up to date with all of their upcoming events.
