DC Cherry Blossom Portrait Sessions | Now Booking

Woot woot! The cherry blossoms are soon going to be blooming it up throughout the DMV area and I’m SO EXCITED. DC is absolutely a beautiful location to do cherry blossom sessions - the soft pink blooms cover the city and it looks STUNNING! In order to do a cherry blossom session in DC, we HAVE to do it at sunrise! DC is already a crowded location and during cherry blossom season, it’s 10x more crowded! Doing the session at sunrise, we’ll be avoiding a wholeeeee lot of people.

Is Going to DC a Hassle for You? No Problem…

DC isn’t the only location where we can find cherry blossoms! There are other locations in Rockville and Frederick that look just as beautiful covered in all of the soft pink blooms - it totally depends what vibe you want to go with!

Limited Portrait Sessions

When the cherry blossoms peak and how long they stay, really depends on the weather. Due to this winter’s weirdly warm weather, they may bloom earlier…BUT, if some weirdly cold weather comes in then, that’ll delay their bloom. This means that you have to be flexible as the date of your session gets closer, because we may need to make some changes. I’m keeping an eye out for the Cherry Blossom Peak Bloom Forecast and The National Park Service for updates all of the time. This is exactly why I only take a few cherry blossom session clients - I want to make sure that if we need to move things around due to the weather, I have the flexibility to do so!
