A DC War Memorial Elopement Ceremony

Lara and Erick had an intimate ceremony at the DC War Memorial to celebrate their union, alongside their immediate family. It was a beautiful ceremony, where both of their cultures were shining through. Lara is of Arab heritage and Erick is Mexican, so there was a mix of languages during the ceremony for both families to understand. So many heartfelt moments - their parents shared kind wishes and poems in their language.

After a very lovely ceremony, we did some family and newlywed portraits before we headed off to their reception to celebrate!

Now, it was time to go and celebrate at Iron Gate in DC - it was the perfect location to host an intimate dinner with their loved ones! They chatted, danced to Arab musicians and mariachis. I say it was the perfect way to celebrate their union 💖
