A D.C. Self Officiated Wedding Ceremony | At Friends of Washington
HAD YOU HEARD OF A SELF OFFICIATED ELOPEMENT BEFORE? Me neither! I had no idea this was a thing until Julia and David told me they’d be self officiating their elopement ceremony. They had their ceremony at Friends Meeting of Washington with their immediate family and it was just perfect – they even did their first look right before they walked down the aisle together! It was an awesome day for a super super chill, laid back, and awesome couple! They’re the type of couple who will plan to take portraits around downtown D.C. after their elopement and last minute decide that they want to do them in the rooftop of their apartment building because they love the vibe and views…because, why not do that on your wedding day right?
